Prepare to say hello to the World of Peppa Pig: the world’s first Peppa Pig theme park. As the name implies, this park will be home to everything related to the world-famous children’s franchise. Designed to help you and your “little piggies” enjoy an ultimate day filled with adventure, the location will offer multiple interactive attractions, themed play areas, rides and live shows.
The planned launch date is February 24, 2022 and the park will be located steps away from its neighbor, Legoland. It is a short drive from Orlando! The spot will likely be in high demand, so be sure to reserve your tickets and vacation packages today before they run out!
Peppa Pig World promises to provide a day packed with endless entertainment: every corner of the park will have some sort of attraction to enjoy, from themed playgrounds to kid-friendly roller coaster rides. The Fun Fair: Children of all ages can visit this area to meet Peppa and her friends, along with a collection of free fairground games that’ll keep the entire family entertained.
Muddy Puddles Splash Pad: You don’t need to visit the beach to splash around, as this play area offers all the water fountains, slides, and surprises your kids need to have the time of their lives.
Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster: Accompany your little one as you ride inside Daddy Pig’s red car and explore a brand-new adventure!
Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride: Enjoy a birds-eye view of Peppa Pig World while riding one of Miss Rabbit’s colorful hot air balloons! The kids will be delighted by the aerial sights atop this family-friendly ride.
Also, the Peppa Pig Theme Park will open as a certified autism center! The theme park is partnering with the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES) to earn the special accreditation, as many of the have been developed with kid-friendly accessibility in mind, like the Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride.
Guests will be able to enjoy the ride from whimsical baskets, crafted to look like a hot air balloon and specially designed to allow children who use wheelchairs to roll on to the ‘balloon basket’ without needing to transfer from their wheelchairs. The ride manufacturers develop this adaptation to a fan-favorite ride to ensure more children could experience it safely along with a grownup, or adult companion. Other attractions in the park being developed for those in wheelchairs include the Muddy Puddles Splash Pad and the sensory-rich trail of Peppa’s Pedal Bike Tour. Also, staff-wide autism sensitivity and awareness training is well underway ahead of the park’s Feb. 24 grand opening celebration.
